Life is really quite simple when you understand the rules, and quite baffling when you don’t. If you have the presence of mind to learn the rules and apply them, you will stand out above the rest as everything clicks into place. Before we get started, ask yourself why you want anything in life. What do you think it will give you? If you search your feelings you have to come to the conclusion that it is because you think that it will make you feel better in some way or other. You also know, deep down, that unless you follow your life dreams and goals, you will never be truly happy.
In essence life will cause you to expand, and as you expand you cannot ever regress to less than you have become and feel happy. When you have identified that you want something, an improved life situation, you must make progress towards that improved state of being if you are to feel joy. Expansion in life is inevitable; whether you keep up with your expansion or not is optional. Some are happy to go along with their dreams and live happy lives, others are taught at an early age that they are unworthy, and are more reluctant to follow their dreams as they get older. These folks tend to feel the tension of their dreams and aspirations out there ahead of them, and the bad feeling associated with being nowhere near them. If you have powerful desire, then you might choose to dull this pain with a form of distraction, work, sex, drugs or alcohol. Or the pain may get too strong and cause you to exit the movie theatre early.
Others are convinced that because it feels painful to want, that wanting, in and of itself, is somehow wrong. So they try to reduce their desires. This is an uphill struggle, as life in all of its variety is designed to inspire desire from those who participate in it. It is what expansion of life is all about. These people tend to become resentful at those who want and receive, and always feel a certain amount is missing from their lives as they recognise deep down that they are missing the greater part of themselves elsewhere.
It is fair to say that your average Joe doesn’t understand how he gets what he gets in life, and so he seeks to control the physical world around him, coming up with laws and rules and regulations to protect himself from things he doesn’t want. If Joe were self-empowered, he wold feel no need to do such things, indeed he would realise the futility of such actions. He would stop trying to think what to do, and would start to feel his way along the path.
Furthermore, the only way you can ever come into your own power is by letting go of control of the outside world, its people places and things, and look inside yourself instead to seek control of the way you feel. Many great teachers throughout the ages have spoken of unconditional love, and this is what they meant. Unconditional love says “I will love (feel good) regardless of what the conditions might be. I will be who I really am and love you, even if you are feeling bad and blaming me or my behaviour for the way you feel”. Conditional love says; “I will love (feel good) when you behave in a way that pleases me, but if you don’t please me, I will disapprove of you and feel bad. It is your responsibility to behave in a way that makes me feel good.” So how can we practice unconditional love? By focussing in a way that makes us feel good. Seeing things in a kind, loving, gentle light, giving people the benefit of the doubt. By knowing that nobody’s done anything wrong and that all really is well. By demonstrating the loving person that you really are to the world, and feeling the true nature of your being.
Unfortunately the majority are trained away from their own true power as they grow up surrounded by people who are living conditional love. These well meaning caregivers need others to modify their behaviour in order for them to feel good. Unfortunately for you this trains you away from the only important thing in life; the way that you feel. The only thing of any importance to you, is the way that you feel. It determines everything that comes to you. Everything else really is irrelevant. So to get to this point where you can control the way you feel, and therefore how the world responds to you, you need to understand where your emotions come from and why they are so important to you.
Do you understand this game called life? How the world addresses itself to you? How you get or don’t get what you get in life? How is it that some are wildly successful and others live lives of mediocrity? Why are some people rich beyond your wildest dreams and other work so hard and earn but a pittance? Is life a game of chance, and is there any benefit in working hard? How do we make the world a fairer place for everyone living here? Do we need to change the systems we currently have in place?
There are a lot of questions here. But where to begin? Firstly, stop trying to think your way out and start to feel your way along the path. Your emotions are more powerful guidance than you probably realise; and if you can understand and use them effectively, they will guide you towards everything that you want in life. Anyway, before we talk about emotions, let’s talk about the Law of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction is the manager of all things. All things are vibrational, not just here, but everywhere both physical and non-physical. And it’s fair to say that if you are going to have a joyful life, you probably would benefit from understanding how it works. Law of Attraction matches up like and like things. The expression ‘Birds of a Feather Flock Together’ is a demonstration of the law. We attract to us things which are of similar essence? But similar in what way?
It you consider your brain as a radio receiver and transmitter, with the ability to tune in to unlimited frequencies. Good feeling happy high flying thoughts have high frequencies and bad feeling, sad, depressing thoughts have low frequencies. When we tune into these frequencies, law of attraction will match us up with the frequency to which we are tuned. Tune to love and see the love in the world. Tune to beauty and see how much beauty there is in the world. Tune to abundance and see the natural abundance in the world. Of course the same goes for the negatives of all of these things, but I wouldn’t recommend you look for those. It’s not that these things have been created by your thoughts. They were there all along, it’s just that you can see them now that you are tuned into their frequency. You have rendez vous’d with them.
But how does Law of Attraction work in the real world? If I apply myself like a successful person, will I become successful? Not necessarily. Law of Attraction will bring to you things which match the way you feel. If you feel successful then Law of Attraction will bring you circumstances, people, situations and the rest to match that successful feeling. If you only act as though you are successful but you still feel poor or unworthy of success, then you will not attract success that you want, as the Law of Attraction responds only to how you feel, which in this case is unworthy. Set how you want to feel, and change your life from the inside out.
