which is better the android tablet or kindle fire?
my mom can get the android tablet cheaper on the android but i want to know weather the apps are more expensive on one then the other. also i want to know if the android has netflix as well because i’ve heard that the kindle has the same exact apps as an android tablet

No question the Kindle Touch and Kindle Fire are hot. They are #2 and #1 on Amazons best seller list. If you want the device for reading books, I would go with a Kindle Touch. If you want to browse the web, and stream videos and such, consider the Nook Color or Tablet.
Regarding Kindle or Nook, I think a lot of it comes down to which company are you already doing business with? Because once you buy the device, you are in it for the long run, since they each use proprietary formats to keep you loyal.
Regarding which company you are mostly using now – if you have a Barnes and Noble in your neighborhood, there are some nice features that allow browsing books for free while in the store, using your Nook.
